This summer, Phoebe got her very own library card. It was a big, big deal. Turns out, it's quite easy for a 5 year-old to get one. If your child doesn't have one yet, I would highly recommend it.
We've been taking weekly trips to the library now. I wish I could say that the stack of books she's holding is full of literary gems, but when you choose books based solely on pink spines, the pickings are slim.
