Young Sewers

Thought I'd share a great post over at Sew Mama Sew about sewing with young children. I like the way the it's broken into age groups. There are also some useful links.

Lots of fun ideas - like this mini banner. I have been thinking of a banner project for Sewing Club, but hadn't sorted out the details - well, here it is!

You know this is a subject dear to my heart. I've talked a lot about how I sew with my 4 year old. One thing that I've noticed is that kids who have experience with sewing cards always do better when given a real needle. You are never too young (or old) to learn how to sew!
