Sewing Animal Clinic

Right before the holidays, Sewing Club hosted an "Animal Sewing Clinic" where students could bring in injured stuffed animals for Sewing Club members to fix. The sewers were so excited to put their skills to use and help out friends. We fixed everything from a torn ear, to a snake that was losing its stuffing, to a Santa beard. One little dog had lost a leg and a felt cast was made!

To add to the fun, everyone wore vet masks while performing "surgery" on the little stuffies. (thanks, nurse Naomi for the masks!)

Tags with important information such as the owner's name, teacher, and injury were tied to the animals. After repairs were made, the sewing vet signed the tag.

We hope to have another Animal Clinic in the spring!
