When We're Not Blogging About Sewing...

We're blogging about eating! Check out the details about our weekly supper club, OSOME (Our Summer Of Magical Eating), here. Basically, it's a weekly potluck that focuses on local ingredients. We have extended an open invitation to about 40 people (Amie and her family are on the list, of course), and every Thursday night, anywhere between 12 and 20 of 'em show up for dinner on my back patio. It's a lovely way to learn new recipes, eat healthily, and socialize!

such a fun idea, if I had a bigger house I would totally be having my own OSOME

you can do it, Marissa! we contemplated using a picnic gazebo at the park, but a friend built a loooong table for my patio, so we've been able to do it here. everyone worries about the clean-up, but I don't mind having to run the dishwasher a few times and re-mopping the floor afterwards because I get paid in leftovers!

and, small world -- I see that you're in SLC and you're a fan of dooce -- last night, my friend windy lou and her family made a guest appearance (they now live in MI) and, as she went to church with heather, we all had a chat about dooce over berry cobbler...

wish you'd been here -- and I love, love, love your ruffled diaper covers!
