I am in love with this Felt Fall Leaves Mobile that I put together for Sewing Club. I just cut out different leaf shapes and sewed a running stitch for veins.
The leaves are tied to the branch with craft thread and attached to the branch. The mobile is currently hanging on my mantle looking very fallish.
So, we gave the kids the above inspiration as well as some branches, leftover wreathes, felt, and yarn and the creating began. This is my favorite part of sewing with kids. Lots of leaves, birds, and variations on a theme.
