It just so happens that we studied the letter H this week, so of course we had to make Haunted H Houses!
The workshop was simple. Cut out a house shape using black construction paper. Cut a bunch of squares and rectangles out of yellow. The kids drew pictures of things that begin with the H sound on the yellow squares and labeled their pictures. Glue stick on the windows and doors and decorate with oil pastel.
If you aren't doing H, you can easily adjust the project for Halloween words.
