Crafts of Christmas Past

It's time to start the holiday crafting!  I've added some fun projects (including these simple elf hats) to the sidebar.

I've noticed lots of other great kids crafts out there as well.  Maybe I'll finally try some felting over at Kleas.  The Crafty Crow has a great Hanukkah crafts section, as well as other holiday crafts.  Please link in the comments section to other great holiday crafts that kids can make!

I made these hats last year with my daughter's second grade class for their winter holiday party. They were a HUGE hit and so adorable. 26 students and 5 parent helpers and it went very smoothly. Many of the students mentioned they had never used a needle before. It was really great and I highly recommend the project. Looking forward to giving my daughter your book for her Christmas present.

Lisa - What a great (and brave!) Christmas party activity! I'm so glad that it worked in another classroom setting. We are about to make ours next week. Thanks!
