Pippi Longstocking!

Pippi has always been a hero of mine. I read the book every year to my Kindergarten class and they love it too. What is it about Pippi that is so appealing? Her naive naughtiness? Her crazy hair? Her lack of parents? Her joyfulness? That bag of gold coins?

Now that Phoebe is watching movies and developing a liking for characters, I felt it was time to introduce her to Pippi. Sadly, a rental version of Pippi was no where to be found (shame on our public library!). I finally had to buy it on Amazon. It was worth it, though. She loves it. If you haven't seen Pippi in awhile, you really need to get your hands on a copy!
