One of the best things about getting ready for the new school year is picking out a few new materials from Montessori Services. They have so many great manipulatives and ideas. They also have a wonderful art and sewing section. I love this little sewing basket. While I don't need to get the entire kit, it gives me some good ideas about how to organize my materials for class. The bonus is that you don't have to be an educator to order from them.
Looking at this reminds me that I wanted to put together a list of sewing materials for the young sewer - I'll have to get on that soon!
Oh, in case you're wondering, this year I'm getting the Quilt Mosaics and the Small Crumber. Should be a fun year!
