After writing a collaborative wall story about seeds, we wrote individual stories. The "pages" of the books are little seeds that fit just right into a little seed packet.
To start, the kids wrote and illustrated their stories on a seed sheet. We fit 4 onto a sheet of paper. They are small, but not too tiny. After the story is done, cut out the seeds.
Next, we made the seed packets. We found a seed packet template online and enlarged it to fit onto card stock. Fold on the dotted lines and glue down the tabs. We decorated the packet like the cover of the book.
Next, we taped the seeds in order onto a length of yarn. The seed story fits so nicely into the packet and can be shared again and again.
