Go Fly a Kite

Team Plumley had a great time a few weeks ago at the Brooks Museum Kite Festival organized by Andria. 

We made these great paper kites and I immediately had to ask Andria where she got the kits - they are simple to make and I love how kite flyers can add their own personal touch to them.  Plus, they really fly!

The Drachen Foundation is a wonderful non-profit that is devoted to the knowledge of kites and kite flying.  They house a research center, educational wing, and store filled with kite kits.  I will be incorporating kites into my curriculum next year!
