A Wreath for Fall

With Halloween a memory, we had to come up with a new project.  Sewing Club was inspired by Andria's alter ego Etsy store mme. hulot, to make a version of her petite nature wreath.
While Andria wraps hers in yarn, we opted for strips of fabric and lots of hot glue.  I showed the kids how to rip fabric down the grain and they loved it!  The sound of ripping fabric filled the air as strips were prepared to wrap around the wreath frames.
I got my wreaths at Dollar Tree.  There were two choices - foam and grapevine.  Don't you love the little fabric bird added to the wreath above?
Fabric leaves and fall-themed foam pieces were used to decorate them.  Each one is different.  A perfect addition to a fall door!
