Camp rocked! I put out a basic pattern for a guitar and the kids went to town. There was also a pattern for a little microphone (the top is a stuffed yo-yo shown here).
As usual, the pattern and directions were very basic. Here it is, get creative, go make it.
Some drew on embellishments, while others sewed them on. Yarn was used for strings.
The peace guitar above was made by a 6th grader. You can really see her vision. She glued the fabric onto the top piece of felt and then sewed the two pieces together to make a sturdy guitar. Yarn strings were then added.
